Training Request

Legal

Terms

Last updated: 15 September 2026

These Terms describe the conditions for using the Moto Academy website and the training request route for motorcycle training. Moto Academy is an independent motorcycle riding school at 5 Voortrekker Rd, Boston, Cape Town, 7530, South Africa. By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit an inquiry.

These Terms explain the informational nature of the website, the limits of the online inquiry process, and the boundaries between general training information and a confirmed arrangement. They are not intended to create an automatic booking, payment obligation, membership, or guaranteed result merely because a visitor browses pages or sends a form.

1. About Moto Academy

Moto Academy provides motorcycle training information and an inquiry channel for visitors who wish to ask about beginner riding, riding skills, and motorcycle safety. The site focuses on motorcycle training described in general terms. We do not present ourselves through this website as a government body, licensing authority, official examination centre, authorised motorcycle manufacturer academy, or licensed training franchise unless that status is separately confirmed in writing.

Correspondence and inquiry follow-up are handled through the contact details you provide and the channels below:

2. Use of the site

  1. Use the site for lawful information and enquiry purposes only.
  2. Do not submit false, abusive, automated, harassing, or misleading information through the form.
  3. Do not attempt to access private submission storage, site administration files, or server-side scripts beyond normal public use.
  4. Do not interfere with the security, availability, or integrity of the website, including by introducing malware or overloading servers.
  5. Do not copy, scrape, or republish substantial site content for commercial redistribution without permission.
  6. Do not use the inquiry form for advertising unrelated services, spam, or solicitation.

We may suspend or restrict access to the inquiry form or other site features if we reasonably believe a visitor is misusing the site or creating a security risk.

3. Informational content only

Content on this website, including training descriptions, category notes, guides, and images, is provided for general information. Training details may vary depending on the selected training option and on what can be arranged after an inquiry is reviewed. Information on the site should not be treated as a definitive catalogue of confirmed availability, fixed training outcomes, or personalised recommendations for every visitor.

Photographs and visual materials may be used for illustration of motorcycle training and riding practice. They may not depict every training detail, setting, or exact conditions at a given time. Illustrative imagery is not a guarantee of a specific training look or result.

Nothing on this website should be read as creating an official partnership, sponsorship, endorsement, licensing relationship, or authorised-academy status with any government licensing authority, motorcycle manufacturer, dealership, racing organisation, or insurance company.

4. Training request process

  1. The visitor submits an enquiry with contact details, training preference, riding-experience notes, and timing request.
  2. Moto Academy reviews the request in writing using the contact details provided.
  3. If suitable, the next step is discussed by further written communication.
  4. Submitting an enquiry does not create a confirmed lesson, booking, payment obligation, deposit requirement, or training right.
  5. Preferred details are requests only and require separate confirmation.
  6. Availability is confirmed separately after review and is subject to change until expressly confirmed.
  7. Moto Academy may decline, pause, or request clarification on an inquiry if information is incomplete, unclear, or outside the scope described on the site.

Because confirmation is separate from form submission, visitors should not assume that a preferred lesson is held, reserved, or guaranteed after clicking send. A successful form submission means the inquiry was recorded for review, not that a training option has been confirmed.

5. Training information boundaries

Descriptions are general and information-led. Information on this site does not promise a specific training result, licence outcome, guaranteed exam pass, guaranteed riding confidence, or sporting outcomes.

Visitors are responsible for considering their own circumstances before arranging any training conversation. Moto Academy does not use this website to offer official government training, official manufacturer academies, or official licensing programmes unless separately confirmed.

Language about organised, practical training planning describes the intended training conversation, not a promised outcome.

6. No automatic payments or online checkout

This website does not provide an online checkout, deposit payment portal, or automatic billing system for motorcycle training. Any discussion of training arrangements after an inquiry, if it occurs, is handled separately from the public form. Do not send payment card details through the inquiry message field.

7. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise noted, text, layout, logos, and original site design elements are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the site for personal, non-commercial inquiry purposes. You may not use the Moto Academy name or logo in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without permission.

Third-party brand names, logos, or motorcycle appearances that may appear in illustrative imagery remain the property of their respective owners and do not imply affiliation with Moto Academy.

8. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website is handled as described in our Privacy Policy and, where relevant, our Cookie Policy. By submitting an inquiry, you also acknowledge the consent statement shown on the form.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The website is provided on an “as available” basis. We aim to keep information accurate and the site functional, but we do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these Terms.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude consumer guarantees or rights that cannot be excluded under applicable mandatory laws. Where liability cannot be excluded, it may be limited to resupply of services or payment of the cost of resupply where permitted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moto Academy is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the website, reliance on informational content, or delays in responding to an inquiry. We are also not liable for decisions a visitor makes based solely on general website content without further discussion.

This limitation does not apply to liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

11. Indemnity for misuse

If you misuse the website, submit harmful content, or violate these Terms in a way that causes loss to Moto Academy, you may be asked to cover reasonably resulting losses to the extent permitted by law. This clause is intended for clear misuse scenarios such as spam campaigns, attempted intrusion, or knowingly false submissions that cause operational harm.

12. Third-party services and links

The site may rely on hosting providers or other technical services. We are not responsible for outages or failures caused by third-party infrastructure outside our reasonable control. External links, if present, are provided for convenience and do not mean we endorse the linked site.

13. Changes to the site or Terms

We may update website content, training descriptions, or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised Terms for subsequent use. If a change is significant for open inquiries already under review, we will handle communication carefully through the contact details associated with that inquiry where practical.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply to you. Disputes arising from these Terms or use of the website are subject to any non-excludable rights you may have.

15. Severability and entire agreement

If any part of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining parts continue in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the main website terms for informational use and inquiry submission. Additional terms may apply later if a separate training conversation is confirmed in writing outside this website form.
